I Stand Alone

Following the process of self-acceptance, this essence strengthens our idea of who we are. But to do that, it addresses the existential issue of being 'alone', and the sadness and sense of separation that can be felt when we think of ourselves as separate from everyone else, separate from the rest of the Universe.

This essence works through the idea of separation, as a reality versus an illusion, bringing to the fore our issues around being 'alone', and then revealing that we are actually part of the 'All'. Just as a branch of a tree has an individual nature, yet is still the tree, we are part of the divine, we are the divine, yet still a unique facet of it. This essence brings the comfort of knowing that we are not alone, that we are the ALL, but the ALL with a single unifying purpose that must be worked out through one entity, that is you.

To be taking this essence means that you are living out the truth of your nature as an individual. But as the picture shows, your own light is the reflection of the One Light, and your part of the tree is the reflection of the One Tree of life. Go forth and shine your light as an individual, knowing that you are working for All That Is.
